About the work
A triumph or a drinking party? Follow the crowning hand, compare ivy with vine leaves, then meet the gaze of the man with the bowl. This English story explores the Prado's tentative connection between wine and poetic inspiration. A paced Zoom & Pan journey enlarges details of the original painting without repainting, with explanatory cards below the work. Prado P001170.
