Bio
I am an AR artist working with painting as a starting point, using both my own canvases and works I have collected from other artists. Influenced by Impressionism and drawn to portraiture, I create AR animations that bring movement and interactivity into the painted image. My practice expands the artwork into a more immersive experience, where the piece can reveal its message more clearly to the viewer.
Artist Statement
My work begins with painting, treating the canvas as a living surface that can be extended through augmented reality. I am especially drawn to Impressionist sensibility and to portraits, where a small shift in light, gesture, or atmosphere can carry meaning. Through AR, I add movement, interaction, and subtle narrative layers to both my own paintings and selected works by other artists. I want the artwork to surprise the viewer, as if it is responding, insisting on a message, or inviting a second reading. In everyday life, speed and distraction often flatten what an artwork is trying to communicate. I see AR as a way to slow down perception and make the intention of the piece more accessible without reducing its mystery. The result is a fuller encounter that combines material paint with a time-based, responsive experience.
